All of us at Summerdown are deeply saddened to share the news that our founder, Sir Michael Colman Bt, has died peacefully in his 96th year.
After his career which ended as Chairman of Reckitt & Colman, Sir Michael embarked on a new venture at an age when most of us are trying to slow down. Combining a lifelong service in business with his enthusiasm for exceptional British produce, he devoted the past 25 years to developing the award-winning peppermint business which exists today.
Summerdown will continue to go from strength to strength, fired by the original vision which Sir Michael was so passionate about. Sir Michael will be greatly missed by all his family and the whole Summerdown team.
